Live at it – chocolate sin quite simply baked yourself!

Last Thursday, Axel Springer’s virtual “xmas baking” took place in the KITCHEN for the first time.
Our patisserie master Franka baked the vegan version of the classic soggy chocolate brownies together with Amelie from EVENTS BY PACE. The whole thing was streamed live, so that Axel Springer employees could dial in easily via a link and follow the whole thing at home and ideally prepare it at the same time.

 

You couldn’t be there or simply missed it? No problem, here’s the replay of the baking workshop.

You will need the following ingredients for the recipe:

 

  • 375 g wheat flour
  • 100 g baking cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g cane sugar
  • 200 ml strong coffee (Caro coffee also works)
  • 280 ml coconut milk (or oat, soy, almond or vegetable milk)
  • 350 ml sunflower oil
  • 150-200 g chocolate drops or chopped chocolate
