Finally spring, finally Easter! We hope you can enjoy a few days off and the first warm rays of sunshine.
We wish you happy Easter days and would like to whet your appetite for a rather Eastery drink: homemade egg liqueur. You can either enjoy it yourself or give it as a gift.
This version from grandma’s recipe book is waiting to be discovered, actually, just like the Easter eggs in the garden.
So what are you waiting for, go for the yellow of the egg.
And this is how it works:
For one bottle 0.7l you need:
Put everything in the blender and mix well, alternatively you can use a hand blender. Then fill the whole through a sieve into bottles. Now it is still very liquid, but after a few days it gets its creamy consistency.
By the way, there is no risk of salmonella, because the alcohol (min. 14% VOL.) kills them.
