ICONIST, the digital lifestyle offering from WELT, presented the ICONISTA Award together with Mattel (Barbie) for the third time. On 3 March 2020, long jump world champion Malaika Mihambo was awarded her personal "One of a kind" Barbie. Following the award ceremony, Dagmar Rosenfeld (Editor-in-Chief of WELT) discussed the challenge of "consistently following your own path" together with the award winner Malaika Mihambo as well as Sandra von Ruffin (actress) and Jens van Tricht (feminism activist). 120 guests enjoyed the exclusive dinner and after-show party at the Stadtbad Oderberger.
For the first time, Team MELT from EVENTS BY PACE took on the overall planning, organisation and implementation of the ICONISTA Event 2020.
