In 2005, one of the founders of YouTube uploaded the first video – a 19-second clip taken in front of the elephant enclosure at San Diego Zoo, which, incidentally, is located in the Escondido district.
Today, we are celebrating the launch of this platform with two dishes that are just as clickable as a viral video:
Escondido Taguitos with peppers and avocado – crisp and colourful like the first short clips.
San Diego burger with beef, cheddar, chilli mayo, jalapeños & chips – a burger that’s guaranteed to be a hit – viral enjoyment, without any algorithms.

In 2005, all the teenagers suddenly stood in front of the mirror with black-rimmed eyes and sang “Durch den Monsun” (Through the Monsoon). Tokio Hotel was the hype, and you either loved them or rolled your eyes.
We are dedicating two culinary chart-toppers to the Kaulitz brothers. In addition, there is a birthday special every day in both the REM and the CAFE.

We are Pope! When Joseph Ratzinger was elected Pope Benedict XVI in 2005, the world was surprised and Germany suddenly became the centre of the Church.
Whether heavenly or controversial, we serve dishes that celebrate tradition. In addition, there is a birthday special every day in both the REM and the CAFE.
Regensburg sausage salad with sourdough bread & sweet mustard – the favourite dish, as down-to-earth as the Pope from Bavaria.
Herrgottsbescheißerle (Maultaschen) with melted onions & lamb’s lettuce – divinely delicious and authentically Swabian.
