When the smell of cinnamon, roast meat, and anticipation fills the air at PAPA, it’s clear that Advent is just around the corner!
This year, we would like to make the run-up to Christmas a little bit more delicious for you – with our festive Advent menus, available every Friday before each Advent Sunday at the PAPA.

Four Fridays, four festive meals – Advent at PAPA 2025

Our kitchen team has once again pulled out all the stops to get you in the Christmas spirit with their culinary creations. From sophisticated starters to festive main courses and heavenly desserts: every menu is a little Advent highlight in itself.

And these are the menus we would like to tempt you with this year:

Menu 1 – November 28, 2025
Starter: Roasted pumpkin | Mozzarella | Pumpkin seeds | Cinnamon balsamic vinegar
Main course: Roast venison | Parsnip purée | Fried kale | Chocolate and red wine sauce with star anise | Candied chestnuts

Menu December 2–5, 2025
Starter: Colorful salad in a glass | Smoked salmon | Beetroot marinade | Pumpernickel croutons
Main course: Steamed farmed salmon fillet | Root vegetables | Mashed potatoes | White wine and butter sauce

Menu December 3–12, 2025
Starter: Porcini mushroom soup with bacon and potato hash
Main course: Slow-cooked beef brisket | Glazed honey and thyme carrots | Red wine and cinnamon sauce | Baked parsley polenta

Menu 4 – December 19, 2025
Main course: Braised duck leg | Red cabbage with apples, cloves, and cinnamon | Orange sauce | Potato dumplings
Dessert: Baked apple | Speculoos crumble in a glass
