“JA MEI” – SOMETHING IS GOING ON IN THE PAPA!

“THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN WHAT IS GOOD”.

This week, PAPA is all about Bavarian. In accordance to the Oktoberfest our kitchen team will dedicate itself to the southern German cuisine on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and offer you the following delicacies:

27.09. Braised pork knuckle with pretzel dumplings and Bavarian cabbage

28.09. Allgäuer Schnitzel with cheese spaetzle and fresh cucumber salad

29.09. Grilled sausages with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut, with roasted onions and mustard sauce of course not missing

But of course, that should not be it. Because in addition to our Bavarian dishes, we are starting a campaign in the next three weeks to offer you regional pasture-raised beef under the label ART_GERECHT: 100% BRANDENBURG.

The meat comes from animals that have been grazing for at least 180 days, live in a herd and come one hundred percent from Brandenburg. You can watch a short film about it here.
It should also be mentioned that the animals do not receive any precautionary veterinary medicines or antibiotics.

Here, meat can be eaten with a clear conscience, because pasture farming is a particularly gentle form of land use and can contribute to the preservation of local biodiversity, since, for example, habitats for certain animal species are preserved and cultural landscapes are maintained. In the current and next week Tuesday and Thursday in PAPA you can expect the following dishes with pasture-raised beef:

27.09. Spaghetti with beef bolognese of pasture-raised beef

29.09. Beef burger from pasture beef

04.10. Pasture beef boiled beef with potato root vegetables and horseradish mousse

06.10. Beef goulash of pasture-raised beef with boiled potatoes and sour cream with leaf parsley

If that’s not a program for feasting…!
