Axel Springer employees have one of the best canteens in the country!

In September 2021, we at PACE decided to participate in the Food & Health canteen test, the most established and wide-reaching test in the field. The aim of the Canteen Test Jury is to improve food quality and to ensure that conscious enjoyment, health and responsibility are harmonized and taken into account, particularly in the field of community catering.

In recent months, the 8-member interdisciplinary jury of experts judged the canteens of Germany’s largest companies according to the following five top criteria:

1. Overall rating

2. Responsability

3. Health

4. Relish

5. Annual theme “We-feeling”

 

PACE won the gold medal in the supreme discipline and the silver medal in the overall ranking and the relish category!

 

So, besides the category relish, PACE especially made the 2nd place in the overall ranking, only Allianz was ahead of us.

But and now, please, a fanfare and a loud applause: In the category “Annual aheme WE-Feeling” our kiez gastronomy of Axel Springer has left everyone behind. We can step onto the winner’s podium ahead of Allianz, AXA, Union Investment and SAP and proudly announce: You have the “canteen” with the best sense of community!
