PAPA and CANTEEN are awarded THE sustainability seal for gastronomy!<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

In recent years, we at PACE have increasingly and intensively addressed the issue of sustainability and considered which of our processes and products we can tackle and optimize in this regard. And we did it!<\/p>\n

Whether it’s increasing vegan offerings, reducing food waste, lowering the CO2 emissions caused by production and products, making an effort to source seasonal and regional products and increasingly trying to sensitize employees and guests to our responsibility for the environment. All of this motivated us to apply for GreenCanteen<\/a> certification with our two large staff restaurants.<\/div>\n

The award is an important confirmation for us that we are on the right track, a recognition of our efforts and investments to date and also a great incentive to further optimize and advance the sustainability process in PACE gastronomy.<\/p>\n

The GreenCanteen<\/a> seal also offers you, our guests, the good knowledge and conscience of enjoying a place where, in addition to the pleasure of good food, conviviality and liveliness, responsibility for our environment is also lived.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Over the course of many months, we have gone through a very extensive and demanding audit process, which covers all areas of the gastronomic value chain and criteria for a continuous improvement process, in order to continue working on optimization.
\nThe audit process also includes all three dimensions of sustainability – economic, environmental and social.<\/p>\n

A few weeks ago, we were informed that both of our restaurants had succeeded in scoring even higher than the minimum of 60% and were therefore awarded the GreenCanteen<\/a> seal.<\/div>\n
